Top 15 Scary Videos Guaranteed To Give You Chills

15. Lockdown When crazy events happen, people tend to go
a bit crazy as well. And this place appears to be taking all the
precautions they can think of. This video shows the lengths this city is
going to in order to round people up for lockdown. A woman can be heard, protesting the idea
of being taken, as officers wearing hazmat suits stand waiting for a man dressed in street
clothes to calm her down. It’s unclear if the man is a relative of
the woman or another officer sent to assist. Nearby is a parked truck with a large metal
box in the truckbed. After a time, the woman is coaxed inside the
box, along with what appears to be her luggage. She seems calmer as she climbs in. But once the metal box is closed, she can
be heard screaming in fear inside. In her cries, you can hear the tension and
fear of being whisked away to isolation. I think her reaction is understandable based
on the situation. I mean how many of us can really say we wouldn’t
do the same thing. 14. Library Ghost Although libraries are supposed to be quiet
safe havens for study, there’s something seriously disquieting about this one. u/cefizmon posted this freaky clip to the
r/chillsnarrator subreddit, writing, “My girlfriend showed me these clips from the
original uploader, but we cant remember who he is or on what social media we watched it
on.” The earliest upload we were able to find was
on YouTube Channel Sylas Tricky in May of 2016. The person appears to be a library attendant. In the footage, he explains that he was working
in the library, when he heard three bangs, which sounded like books falling in succession. When he discovered the source, he found a
single book on the floor. He replaced it and went back to work, only
to hear banging again shortly later, but after checking the entire library, found no book
out of place. He finally arrived at some wall hangings that
had fallen off the wall. Strangely, though, one folder fell quite far
from the rest, near the stairs. It either drifted there or was thrown with
great force from the wall. Either seems strange, as what forces made
it fall or drift in the first place? As the attendant keeps trying to catch the
banging noise that he’s hearing on video, he captures something else…a chair travels
across the floor all on its own in the adjacent room. He gets the heck out of there, setting up
camp on another floor for a while. After that terrifying incident, nothing more
seems to happen, until right before the dude’s shift ends at 4AM. This time, he does catch the noise he’s
been hearing on video. You can hear something fall loudly in the
background. When he goes to investigate, he finds books
have fallen off the shelves again. As he picks them up, he hears more fall. He walks toward the source of the noise, and
this time, he catches the action, as a book falls from its place on the shelf. You can see no one is there to push it. As he races down the stairs, presumably done
with his shift, he hears a couple more bangs. Thankfully, his shift is over with. Redditor Lemmiiwinkz writes what we’re all
thinking: “At least he made it out…Until he has to clock back in.” Not sure if I’d have the guts to return
to the nightshift at this haunted library. 13. Lightning Bolt Imagine being so close to passing on that
you can feel the hair stand up on the back of your neck. That’s what must have happened to this Florida
police man when lightning bolted just feet behind him. The Apopka Police Department released surveillance
footage of the incident, which shows the canine officer loading equipment into the SUV’s
backseat, oblivious to what’s in store. A moment later, a lightning bolt strikes,
scaring the wits out of the officer, and causing him to jump into the front seat. Not only did the lightning from the severe
storm that came through Apopka nearly strike this poor officer, but it also damaged a number
of electrical transformers and shut down the police station’s power. Firefighters were called to the building,
as haze had been reported there, but everyone was alright, and there was no lasting damage. As the odds of being struck by lightning in
any one year in the U.S. are 1 in 700,000, this officer barely managed to beat these
extreme odds. 12. Entity on ‘Babycam’ There’s nothing that will give you chills
more than an unexplained entity on your baby monitor. Originally posted to YouTube, this video was
filmed in February of 2020. The uploader writes, “Something was spotted
on my niece’s babycam…this is the only time this has ever happened.” The uploader asks for advice on whatever this
may be. While Redditor Rbplants suggests it’s a
flashlight and MajorDodger thinks it’s a mobile, there
is something incredibly eerie about the way this foggy figure moves around the baby’s
crib, jostling from side to side, as if to comfort him. YouTuber Dustin Ritsema agrees that the thing
looks crazy, saying that it appears to be pacing back and forth. Splashstorm04 also notes that the figure appears
like it sat down. Not sure what this is, but it would definitely
be unnerving as a parent to spot this on your baby monitor. If not a ghostly caretaker, does anyone have
a better explanation? 11. Doorbell Taker Caught on camera, taking a camera. That’s what happened to this masked man
in Elk Grove, California. Using a screwdriver, the unknown individual
was found approaching a home in the area to take its security cameras. Somewhat craftily, he first cut the garage’s
circuit breaker at the side of the house, in order to take the camera without it catching
him on video. The homeowner said he must have been very
quiet, as none of her four dogs alerted them to his actions. One video that actually did catch him was
this one. The doorbell camera got a clear shot of the
man approaching with the creepy mask on. While he did manage to make off with the camera,
of course the doorbell’s app saved the video’s surveillance…although, unless this masked
visage is actually the man’s face, pretty sure this footage isn’t going to help catch
him. Although the home owner believes the man was
just there to take the cameras and nothing more, knowing this masked individual was lurking
around your home is sure to be nightmare fuel. 10. Hide & Seek Do you want to play hide-and-seek with the
paranormal? Published in June of 2019 by YouTube channel
SEE DJINNS, the man narrating the footage says that the abandoned place he’s exploring
is where a man went crazy and took the lives of his entire family. The man immediately begins speaking as he
captures the empty site on film, all locked up to keep trespassers out. As he attempts to show the abandoned house, he finds that it’s not abandoned after all. He captures someone disappearing around a
corner, and he chases after him, asking who he is. As he searches for him, repeating, “Young
man,” he hears a loud noise that makes him retreat. He continues to speak and notes that whoever
fled did not escape by one exit, because he closed it. Twice, he hears a door being hit. He continues to search around for whoever
is playing games with him and hears a strange EVP from within a room. As he’s filming a kid’s shoe which he
found in a corner of the home, a rock is thrown his way. He saw more, and then says, “If you’re
a demon, come to me.” In looking at the footage later, the cameraman
found a man staring out a window at him. His creepy visage is seen lurking there before
he disappears. The hide-and-seek game continues with the
demon’s head poking up here and there, noises made to psychologically terrify the man who,
all the while is still talking. Do you think you’d make it through a game
of hide-and-seek here? Neither do I. 9. Full-Bodied Apparition Have you ever seen a believable full-bodied
apparition? Well, you’re about to. Posted to the r/Ghosts subreddit, this clip
is from the Travel Channel show, Ghosts of Morgan City. The video shows a room that the crew are surveilling. It’s dark and appears completely empty. However, it won’t be for long. After a moment, a woman in a white nightgown
walks past an entryway on the opposite side of the room, sending chills through the entire
crew. One of the team says he was watching the shot
live, and he knows for a fact that no one came in or out of that house. They point out in the video that while the
apparition is full-bodied, she is also transparent, and you can see the background through her
as she passes by. To verify whether or not it was the ghost
nurse, some other phantom, or just a live human trespasser, they send one of the team
over to retrace the ghost’s steps. Sarah – the woman sent – says it’s pitch
black in the house, which suggests that whoever walked through must have known exactly where
they were going. They ask Sarah to walk past the same spot. When she does, her body appears much more
solid; not translucent like the other figure. The team also shows that the sound of Sarah’s
footsteps is caught via the audio, but the phantom figure didn’t make a sound as it
crossed the same path. Redditor freelancebdel states: “I want to
believe that this type of thing is real..wholeheartedly. However, it is unfortunate that we know based
on past reality shows surrounding paranormal evidence that there is a whole lot of dishonesty
based on the profitability of having ‘something’ happen or show up.” How do you feel about this? Do you believe it’s real or just…profitable? It does certainly look convincingly real to
me. 8. Weird Masked Man This TikTok clip serves as a warning not to
wander through dark shadowy parks at night. Posted to the r/chillsnarrator subreddit by
u/Manc_Viper, this footage was originally posted to TikTok by Jade. Jade writes, “Seen this walking through
a park near Dukes Road Totnes.” The “this” in question is a creepy dude
that appears around the corner of a road through the park, the pathway canopied by trees, obscuring
him somewhat. As Jade spots the thing rounding the corner,
he zooms in on it. The thing looks like a man with a white mask
on, hunched over and walking in a strange lurching manner. If you crossed paths with this in the darkness
of night, would you resort to running away? I think that’d be a yes from me. 7. Abandoned Building is Haunted There seems to be a theme about abandoned
houses with this Top 15: they’re overrun by demons. Posted by YouTuber, Abdullah Al-Anbari, in
July of 2019, this video will send you reeling. At the top of the video, Abdullah states that
his adventures took him to this abandoned house, where it is said voices and the cries
of women are often heard and strange things are seen in windows. Sounds like the perfect site to go it solo. That’s what our adventurer does on the night
in question. He immediately starts hearing sounds as he
circles the outside of the home. He thinks they’re coming from a gecko. He enters the home which is full of graffiti. In one of the rooms, around the side of a
doorway, a figure peers around the corner. He hears a noise as he’s exploring the place
and says he feels a strange presence. He enters one room with a beautiful panorama
of the city beyond. The moon is bright in the sky, but as he enters,
it disappears. He hears something from the floor below and
gets down to capture it on camera through the hole in the floor. He says he hears children’s voices inside
the water tank. As he descends the stairs, talking all the
way, something from above falls down, and then something heavier, which looks like a
floor tile. It falls directly in his path, narrowly missing
him. If it had caught him, he could have not made
it out. Abdullah is lucky to have made it out of this
haunted house alive. On his way out, he says he saw something at
the top of the house. He races off through the rubble as fast as
he can without breaking an ankle. Many in the comments are in awe of this ghost
investigator and the courage he showed with everything that went on inside this home. Do you think you’d have the guts to endure
it? 6. Floating Ghost Girl When driving late at night, it’s easy to
imagine that you see things on the side of the road. But this one is not at all imagined. Posted by u/Caligramm to the r/chillsnarrator
subreddit, the Redditor writes, “Police actually recorded this but i really don’t
know what year and where.” Originally published to YouTube Channel Vintage
Throwback Classics in September of 2018, the video shows what appears to be a girl in a
white dress with long dark hair, floating near the side of the road. Cars go by, lighting her for a moment, and
she just shifts a little, before floating straight up into the air. Somehow, she becomes even brighter up in the
sky. Her dress flows, and then she floats down
to Earth again, before repeating her drift upward. Is this a “drone prank” as VixenRoss suggests
in the comments? Or did this girl ghost want people to notice
her? Either way, this is probably the last thing
you’d want to see while driving down the road. 5. Unexplained Voice How do you explain away disembodied voices? Could it be someone hidden out of sight? Or is someone speaking to you from the afterlife? Posted by u/Unknown-Tru7h to the r/Ghosts
subreddit, the following video was caught on the uploader’s friend’s doorbell camera. The Redditor says her friend left for work
and his wife went outside to do the laundry in an adjacent laundry room. She heard a disembodied voice outside, which
she said sounded like it was crying out for help and coming from directly behind her. As you can see, the woman turns to look in
the direction from which she heard the voice, but there’s nothing there. In the background, you can hear their dog
whining. This episode freaked her out so much that
she called the authorities to come check it out, which you can also see in the video. She thought someone might be hiding out of
sight on their property. After hearing the recording themselves, the
police searched the premises but found nothing. Noting that the voice sounds like it’s coming
from someone in pain, the Redditor writes: “If anybody can enhance the audio or make
out more clearly what it’s saying, that would be greatly appreciated! We’ve listened to it a bunch and hear what
sounds like ‘Please, please. Lady, please help. Please help’.” One redditor, daltanious, notes that sound
bounces and echoes, so whoever was speaking may not have been posted up in the direction
from where the sound came. Redditor kimblim asks if they’re sure the
sound didn’t come the device itself, remarking that devices and camera systems have been
known to be hacked, but also remarks, “I would much rather it be a ghost though.” The Redditor responds that the woman in the
clip believes the sound came from the window, not from where the ring doorbell speakers
were situated. The Redditor also said other redditors in
another subreddit tested out what a voice heard on the ring doorbell speakers sounded
like, and it’s very different from what is heard here. Who do you think this could be? Perhaps someone is trapped, and this woman
was the last source of help. According to another redditor in the comments,
mystery_lady, she called the cops to report a similar incident, and the officer said,
“in most cases where someone suspects another person is around, it turns out to be the case.” We’ll just let that one sink in. 4. Remote-Snatching Ghost What happens when a ghost dislikes the show
you’re watching on TV? Becci Sims posted this clip of her son Ben
to Facebook in 2019. Becci writes, “He kept flinging his arm
and kept repeating ‘TA’ and look what I captured!! I literally couldn’t believe what I saw!” Ben looks like he’s battling with some unseen
force that’s trying to take the remote. His arms fling back and he shouts, as though
something is attempting to yank it out of his hands. At the end of the video, the remote appears
to nearly leave his hands entirely, as whatever is grappling with it tries one more time to
pull the remote from the kid. Guess this unseen phantom has had enough of
Dora, the Explorer. Something tells me there’s a nicer way to
handle that though. 3. Ghostly Manifestation Depending on what kind of person you are,
perusing videos that hold the power to give you chills may sound either like a thrilling
way to pass the time or a means to terrify yourself with fear. Security cameras are great for monitoring
your property for suspicious activity of any kind. But sometimes that suspicious activity is
sure to make you paranoid. This is one of those cases. Posted to YouTube in March of 2020. The uploader wrote, “The images in this
video were captured on February 19 of this year by the security camera installed at the
doorbell of a house in Valdosta, Georgia, and shared [to] Reddit by altadam. In them we can see that, next to the two vehicles
parked in front of the covered porch of the house, an orb appears that first ascends,
descends and then seems to enter the white vehicle to, seconds later, exit by the wheel
as a ghostly entity and disappear at the height of the birdhouses that are on the porch.” As described, the footage shows a strange
light beam jump from one vehicle to the other, before disappearing completely. While this may be something paranormal – perhaps
an orb or some other unknown flying device – some redditors in the comments think it’s
nothing more than a flying insect, leaving an artifact trailing behind. JoeyJoeC points out that the bitrates for
cheap cloud cameras aren’t great, and that’s what may have caused the appearance of a light
beam. Whether you believe it’s a paranormal phenomenon
or not, watching this live on your security camera would be sure to produce chills as
you questioned what is outside your door. 2. Work Hazard A peaceful day at work doesn’t seem to be
in the cards for anyone on this list. Posted to the r/Ghosts subreddit by u/tristynjoshua,
the redditor writes: “So this happened at my work a couple months back … “ In the video, a man is working at his desk,
around the corner from some file cabinets and other stuff stored against the wall. As he’s sitting there working, oblivious
to what’s going on around the corner, a white board does a full 180, twirling around
to land upright, leaning against the opposite wall. What is going on here? While some say it could have been the wind,
as it appears there’s an exit door open that may have let a draft in, others think
the paranormal had a hand in this. Redditor BoyMom119816 writes, “I think lots
just want you to know they’re there.” He goes on to explain that his mother-in-law
has some child ghosts haunting her, and they often throw and move things, while footsteps
and other noises can be heard around the home. Others in the thread agree, saying sometimes
it gets scary when things escalate. Is this what’s going on here? Do the ghosts of this building just want to
play around with their colleagues, and let them know they’re there. While the uploader says wind is the only thing
that makes sense, the movement of the whiteboard seems odd for wind. It would make more sense for the wind to simply
knock it over from where it was propped against the wall than for it to do a pirouette across
the hallway and land perfectly on the other side. The Redditor himself said the object was a
whiteboard, others think that the object appears to be something of less substance, like an
empty packing box or styrofoam, which would make it more reasonable for it to move this
way from a gust of wind. Redditor Sobrikett negates the wind theory,
asking that if wind was strong enough to propel something around like that in the hallway,
why didn’t it move anything else; not even the blue bag outside the open door. Nothing else in the hallway moves at all. Wind or a mischievous ghost? What do you think? Before we get to number 1, my name is Chills

creepiest creepy videos. This is just further proof. At first, this seems like a normal traveling
video. A couple is riding public transport. The man is taking video of his girl friend,
as she snaps pics out the window. They ride along for a while, and everything
appears quite normal. That is, until they’re traveling through
the metro. The woman is laughing, still snapping pics
of the darkness outside, and then the video goes a bit squiggly. At first, you think this blip in the video
is the only thing that’s slightly unsettling. But look over the woman’s shoulder, and
you’ll notice something that might truly give you chills. Whether this is another passenger who’s
being a bit of a leering creep or some paranormal figure looming beyond, this image is something
that will stick with you. The fact that the film blips at this exact
moment seems to suggest the latter.
