FCA Replay: March 20, 2020

All right now on FCA Replay! FCA now offers a special financing program
to help buyers of select 2019 and 2020 Dodge, Jeep® and Ram vehicles
during this extraordinary time. Customers can get 0 percent
financing for 84 months and no payments for 90 days
under the program. For all the details,
see your favorite FCA dealer. Ram 1500 customers in Texas and surrounding
states are getting a new version designed just for them — the Ram 1500
Laramie Southwest Edition. This special trim package bundles together
some popular appearance and luxury features. The exterior is marked by body-color bumpers,
mirrors and grille surround. Power side steps are included. Inside, there are the 12-inch
Uconnect screen, dual-pane sunroof, remote tailgate release and rain-sensing wipers. Buyers can choose a bench or bucket seats. The bucket seats come with a heavy-duty
Mopar locking center console. The Ram 1500 Laramie Southwest Edition goes
on sale in the second quarter of this year. High school students in grades 10 to 12 who
have some extra creative time in their schedules can put some of it toward creating a Ram truck
of the future for the Drive for Design competition. Entries are due in five weeks. Beware, that’s a pretty tight deadline. Members of the FCA Product Design Office are
offering up tips and personal insights on the Drive for Design page on Facebook. This week, Dwayne Jackson, an interior design
manager in the Jeep studio, urges design students to trust their creativity. Find all the details at fcadrivefordesign.com. And finally, the Jeep Gladiator pickup is the
latest vehicle in the FCA lineup to be upfitted with accessories
tailored for people with disabilities. As part of the FCA Driveability Program, the
Gladiator can be fitted with aftermarket equipment such as hand throttle and brake controls
and a wheelchair lift. Details are at fcausdriveability.com. And those are this week’s stories on FCA Replay. I’m Peter Spezia,
reporting for FCA Digital Media.
